KOEHLER-RUPRECHT

Oh man, what am I struggling with here, to make you understand in a well-thought-out manner that you are missing out on something if you don't drink enough of Koehler-Ruprecht's Riesling Kabinett Saumagen trocken? Why? Well, because the wine is so incredibly enjoyable! Its aroma is wonderfully fresh and delicately aromatic, exactly as a classic Riesling should smell. It is phenomenally balanced, caressing on the palate; and it is divine how it unleashes a fine acidity at just the right moment, “wiping up” everything and heralding a finish that could hardly be more gentle, harmonious, juicy and minerally!

The Saumagen Kabinett is a soul wine that stimulates your mind and relaxes your soul.

Of course, Dominik Sona also makes great wines, ones that will knock your socks off with a few years of bottle aging, just like the time in the farmhouse parlor of Traube Tonbach, where a 14-year-old bottle of Riesling from Koehler-Ruprecht took our breath away!

Incidentally, Koehler-Ruprecht presses classic wines that are always fermented spontaneously (no addition of pure yeasts) and aged in the traditional piece barrel (an old, large wooden barrel that holds about 1200 liters of wine) , where the Riesling matures, where it comes into contact with oxygen in a controlled manner, but without absorbing any foreign aromas (the barrel is old, covered with tartrate on the inside and no longer releases any aroma). These wines often require a little more patience, but they reward those who give them the time they need to develop.

Let Koehler-Ruprecht's Rieslings put a smile on your face!

With best regards
