Cassiopée... from zero to cult!

Private Sale ... only 72 hours!

That's right, this is our private sale newsletter again, which is only sent to customers who bought Cassiopée wines last year or signed up to the mailing list. That means you!

Starting today, you have 72 hours to let us know which of Cassiopée's great 2023 reds you would ideally like to buy. Tell us straight from the hip and we will do our best to fulfill your wishes. We will then send you your allocation in a few days.

Talloulah and Hugo learned from the best – Clos de Tard, Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, Domaine Roulot and Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier – and have been implementing their very own interpretation of learning in Marange since 2020.

They lovingly tend their vines, some of which are already very old (almost 100 years old) and would have long since been retired by other winemakers.

It is these ancient vines that provide the fruit for Cassiopée's dreamlike wines, which are carefully aged in used wooden barrels and clay containers.

Talloulah and Hugo Mission are committed to capturing the terroir and bottling it. They press lively wines, wines with energy and precision. Great Burgundies interpreted in a contemporary way – I find them wonderful, because I am tired of overwooded, lush or harsh wines that have been sulphurized far too much.

The connection to nature is central for the Maturins, which is why they press natural wines, work biodynamically in the vineyard, do not use new wooden barrels and add so little sulfur to their wines that they are stable to travel.

It's time to secure the 2023s, which I think are at least as attractive as the 2022s.

It would be our pleasure to read or hear from you soon.

Warm regards

Carl J. Studer and his gang

PS: IMPORTANT: Please decant the Cassiopée wines, they need to breathe!
