Didier DAGUENEAU, by Louis Benjamin...

THE address for Sauvignon Blanc!

Private Sale ... only 72 hours!

That's right, we'll only give you 72 hours to decide whether you want to treat yourself to a few bottles of Dagueneau's magical Sauvignon Blancs this year!

First, we're offering this hellishly hot wine just to you! Why? Quite simply because you belong to a tiny group of preferred customers who have already been lucky enough to be able to buy Dagueneau's magical wines from us in the past. Or you have simply grown dear to our hearts and we would like to offer you the opportunity to get your hands on one or other of these great wines before others have the chance. But don't delay.

You tell us what you would like – but you can only submit one order, so it is not a purchase yet – and we will do our best to fulfill your request. However, we cannot guarantee that you will get what you want. Thank you for your understanding.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This offer is, on the one hand, about Buisson Renard 2022 – my personal favorite – which is fresher and clearer than the other Dagueneau wines and has significantly more energy than others.

And, on the other hand, it is about Dagueneau's classic, his Silex 2022, about which everything that can be said has already been written and said.

What you might have missed, however, is Dagueneau's 2021 – that is, the XXI – of which Louis Benjamin has once again entrusted us with a few bottles from his personal reserve. XXI combines the fruit of all Dagueneau wines, including Buisson Renard, Pur Sang, Silex and also the Sancerre from Mont Damnée. The frost decimated Dagueneau's yields so dramatically that they decided to bottle only a single wine in the 2021 vintage. BUT WHAT A WINE IT IS! A killer wine, I think, which reminds me a lot of Buisson Renard 1997, which I had the pleasure of tasting with Antoine Petrus five years ago and which was as fresh as if it had just been bottled.

So, you see, if you want freshness, elegance, energy and aging potential, and for me, the perfect quality, then it has to be the XXI!

I look forward to reading or hearing from you soon.

See you in a moment!

With best regards

Carl J. Studer and his team

PS: The wines of Les Jardins de Babylone are from the south-east of France and are a labor of love of the late Didier Dagueneau... you should definitely try these wines.

Sincerely
