NO Girls

NO Girls, -

The name “No Girls” is a nod to the colorful and lively history of the city of Walla Walla. As was common in the Wild West, there were numerous brothels in the growing community. As times and people changed and the women's suffrage movement began, the famous houses of ill repute were gradually closed down. In 2002, Christophe Baron purchased a building in the city center that had once housed such a brothel. When he first stepped through the doors, he found the scene almost eerily well preserved. At the top of a wide, curved staircase, the words “No Girls” could still be seen, painted on the wall sometime in the 1960s.
