Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard

Panek is located east of Highway 29, north of St. Helena, at Bale Lane, in the old riverbed of the Napa River. Panek is a top-notch wine with an exotic bouquet interwoven with subtle blueberry notes. But wonderful floral aromas also waft from the glass toward my nose. Behind that, I can hardly believe it, are blood orange and Tarocco orange aromas. I love this scent, LOVE it! Dr. Becker would probably say that I want to wallow in it. Exactly! On the palate, it displays a Rivers Marie-like, classic structure, which is wonderfully integrated into an athletic body. It's uncanny how accessible the wine already is. Wow, that's quite a statement. Seemingly weightless, but only seemingly, it moves across the tongue and spreads pure pleasure. Without question, this is a great wine that, with patience, will become an excellent Napa Valley classic that will give you great pleasure for many years to come!
