None other than Jean Phillips, former owner of Screaming Eagle, is the owner of the vineyard from which the fruit for this fantastic wine comes. Russell naturally has a say in the work in the vineyard, but in principle Jean should know how to do it, having made the world's first cult wine with Screaming Eagle. The aroma is floral at one moment and fruity at another, spicy the next and when you let the wine rest in the glass for a moment it becomes fleshy. This spectrum is unbelievable! On the palate, the wine exerts a lot of pressure, the tannins are sweet and the wine is surprisingly fresh in the finish, which doesn't want to end. This wine is a BANG!
