Jonas Huber is following in his father Daniel's footsteps and is doing a great job! He keeps the quality high, consistently high. This is just as important for Fustoquattro, Huber's entry-level wine, as it is for Montagna Magica, his showpiece, or even more important. Because there are far more people who will drink the Fustoquattro than the rare great Montagna. The aroma is already beguiling, dark berry but delicate, the wine smells wonderfully of Ticino, of Merlot and also brings those spicy notes typical of Merlot into play, which give the wine that Mediterranean touch. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly powerful, but without being overpowering. Nevertheless, it is taut and focused with a wonderfully fresh and elegant finish. A really great wine!
