Grain Mariage

With or rather in this wine, Marie-Thérèse combines the Valais wine DNAs with Humagne Rouge and Cornalin. The Humagne Rouge delivers the pithy, the impetuous, somewhat wild and the Cornalin - for me, when it is made as well as Marie-Thérèse's, reminiscent of a great Pinot Noir - brings mellowness, but also a great transparency and, of course, an inner elegance to the wine, which is accentuated with a little bottle ageing. Exactly, patience once again brings the proverbial roses. Indescribable, this depth of aromas, how red berry aromas, olives and seductive floral scents entwine around graphite notes is simply fabulous. The wine glides through the palate with power, but in a restrained, magical way, and ends with a brilliant, never-ending finish.
