Finally, the wait is over, not only for all those who have not yet had the chance to buy a Tatasciore wine, but for all those who love Jacques' wines! Les Ratenets is the name of Domaine Ruedin's first single-vineyard Pinot Noir and - I'll say it right away for all those who don't want to waste time, trust Jacques and want to buy it straight away - this wine is nothing less than fantastic, and much too cheap to boot! Nowhere else will you find a wine even close to this wonderful at this price, NOWHERE else - please excuse me, dear Burgundy winegrowers from the Dominion, Valais, Burgundy, but it's the truth, nothing but the truth! At first, I found the dark berry aromas of Les Ratenets rather unusual, but, my God, if the terroir brings such aromas, so be it. Delicious! On the palate, too, the rather densely knit material is a lot of fun. It skillfully uses its fine-grained tannins and gives the wine an unexpected length and tension. Its finish is as juicy as it is clear. Wow, what a wine!
