Pinot Noir Finn

2024

Traubensorten Pinor Noir
Trinktemperatur 12° - 14°

Green Valley (Bressay Estate, on sandy soil) and Santa Rosa Plains (Occidental Road, on loamy soil) form this great wine. Such wines need a little patience, tjaaa, or sometimes they have a window that allows you a glimpse into the future ... of course, a little imagination, imagination is still required. Finn is a powerful wine, one with power and plenty of structure. But don't worry, the wine is harmonious, so everything is well proportioned and of course of the very best quality. You should give the wine some time, even if it does have one of those aforementioned windows from time to time and smells impressively dark - liquorice and blackberries - but also multi-layered like pomegranates and the finest Earl Grey tea. There is a lot going on, the aroma is constantly changing, or rather it is constantly recombining the aromas we are already familiar with. The wine confidently takes over the palate and lays its pithy tannins on the tongue and palate. The acidity kicks in right on the spot and lets the saliva shoot, virtually washing away the tannins and allowing an incomparable, no, a spectacular finish to begin. Magical, this wine ... today, tomorrow and even late into the 2030s.
