Here too, Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen calls a spade a spade: Tri de Chavigne means that the fruit for this wine was harvested in different stages, so only the best grapes, which grow at the very top of the Chavigne vineyard, were used for this wonderful wine. A multidimensional wine on every level, because the fragrance is already complex, based on lemon aromas, above all freshly torn zests of ripe, juicy lemons, which combine wonderfully with the scent of white flowers and a very fine toast note - brioche, butter brioche, as our friend Stefan Heilemann bakes it - to create a seductive perfume. Great! The wine flows powerfully into the palate and makes a mighty impression. Its texture is silky, its long finish wonderfully salty, before the saliva finally begins to flow en masse. An electrifying finish that impressively illustrates the enormous potential of this region. It's a good thing we have Jean-Marie, who knows how to make use of it and "presents" us with wonderful wines like this one! Well done, Monsieur Guffens-Heynen!
