Also just a lieu-dit, but one of the very, very famous ones. It's thanks to Jean-François Coche that anyone with a slight interest in Burgundy knows Les Enseignères. It was in Adelboden - the hotelier couple Irene and Martin Müller were still working in the Bernese Oberland at the time - that I seized the unique opportunity to share a 2005 of the wine in question with my colleagues at an unbeatable price. Unforgettable! So I'm sure that Florence has what it takes to be a star. Let's give her the time she needs and enjoy this big, complex Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères, which smells wonderfully of orange oil and the next moment of unbelievably beautiful ripe vineyard peaches. The brioche touch is also divine. Dense and powerful, yet with a firm structure and wonderfully shaped by the acidity, the wine moves light-footedly and playfully through the palate and ends in a fabulous finish. Magnificent!
