Until now, we have concentrated on Le Berceau. But that has now changed! This supposedly "small" white from Gripa almost knocked our socks off! Magnificent notes of stone fruit, peaches for example, and also pear aromas combine with beeswax and ripe quince to create a fragrance that is almost free of woody aromas; this fragrance makes me bring the glass to my nose again and again. Is it really the case that this "little one" smells so much better than the "big one"? Yes, it is! That's why we didn't buy Le Berceau 2020. On the palate, the wine is at least as attractive because it is lively and so refreshingly spicy, with a wonderfully salty, mineral finish. This is great white Rhône Valley cinema!
