The Coò, Velabona's little brother, gives an idea of what Velabona is capable of. But don't expect a big, fat, rancid Chardonnay that smells overly woody and clings to the glass like old chip oil. No, the Velabona has style! But be careful, the wine needs air. So decant it, it will thank you for it. At first, the wine smells subtle, but with more air, incredibly enchanting aromas develop. These are always clearly mineral in nature, then sometimes citrusy, sometimes yellow-fruity and now and again delicate aromas of white almonds are interwoven. Can you imagine that? Extremely neat! Isn't it? On the palate, the wine delivers what it promises on the nose. But let me remind you that the wine is built on elegance. Its finish is long and wonderful, almost crisp and mineral.
